Jacob's Place is a residential facility and empowerment program serving families and single women experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to show compassion and offer hope, in the name of Jesus Christ, by providing temporary housing for the homeless and assist them in obtaining spiritual and physical stability.
The Jacob's Place purpose is to address the causes leading to homelessness. Families we serve agree to participate in a program that emphases making improvements toward individual financial, professional, educational, social and spiritual goals. This is achieved through providing temporary housing, spiritual and emotional support, parenting and life skills training, educational resources, job skills as well as other assistive needs.
The donation was raised by the members of Harding's social clubs, Chi Omega Pi and Sigma Phi Mu through a local potluck fundraiser.
